All the Feels
by Olivia Dade
I hadn't read the first book in the Spoiler Alert series, but I really enjoyed All the Feels. I wasn't sure what to make of Alex when he first meets Lauren. He definitely came across as a jerk. Lauren came across as kind of a stick-in-the-mud type, but it was fun to watch them fall in love. The book did gloss over some areas that I think would have been interesting to read more about, like when Alex spends a weekend with his friend, or when Alex realizes he's in love with Lauren. Overall, it was a fun adventure.
The one thing that did bother me was some of the dialog. It was pretty obvious the author wasn't American English by some of the words and conversations. Most 30-something year old American men don't use words like dolt. It wasn't off-putting, but it did make it a little harder to connect to the characters.
