I am full on obsessed with Jane Harper. She is a brilliant new voice in mystery fiction. I literally COULD NOT GUESS how this book was going to go. I went back and forth on it several times and my answers were not even close. Harper tells thoughtful stories that rely on characters and this one is not exception. Even as we, the readers, know one of these people must be a killer we find ourselves loving and caring for them. It’s her best work yet and I expect her to become one of the biggest names in the genre.
