though Javier was technically married, he didn't have any sort of relationship with her since before they were married. They only married because she was pregnant, and he wanted to give his daughter a good life.

I love Javier, man was this guy a hot dirty talking yum yum! *lol* I also like Alex, and my heart broke for her at one point. This book was just really well written, hot, full of feels...I loved it!

After Javier breaks up with Alex, there is a 5 year time span, he doesn't sleep with anyone during that time. Alex moves on and marries, but doesn't love her husband. They did have sex though.
