My Sister, the Serial Killer
by Oyinkan Braithwaite
Wow, this was... Wow. I appreciated how different this was from a lot of crime books I've read in the past. Female centric, male victims, and set in Lagos. I'm so glad I read this.
It was funny in a very dark way and super engrossing. The ending was a bit abrupt, but in the same way as other endings of suspenseful books I've enjoyed have been (think Sharp Objects, for example). The pacing is wonderful and makes for a quick read. I highly recommend it.
