Really a mixed bag for me. Initially, I was sucked in by the lively and energetic writing about books and reading but very soon the stream of consciousness-like narrative got tiring because there was so much rambling and branching out into sub sub sub stories and jumping back and forth. There was a part in the middle the caught me again and I read about 100 pages in one go but after that I really just wanted it to end. The last 2 chapters were just confusing and I didnt remember who Dale or any other character were. But once in a couple of pages there's a profound paragraph in it. So yeah, like I said, mixed bag.
