Charlotte, called Lottie, goes through a time portal. Will she ever be able to get home to her best friend Kittie?

I don't know, maybe I just wasn't in the right reading mood for this book, but I didn't love it. I thought Lottie adjusted remarkably well, and I was a little surprised by her being allowed to go on the trip to Italy. That seemed sudden. I also have had more debate about the nature of time travel with this book than any other.
