The Deepest End of Love
by Lisina Coney
This is one of those series that I will forever love and really miss now that it's over. This book was the perfect ending to an amazing series and while I'm sad it's done, I'm also so happy I got to read these books in The Brightest Light series. I really connected with Reed and Lila and their desire to help children as youth counselors. The way they facilitated change in the lives of those children was so heartwarming and impactful. Reed was a top tier book boyfriend and such a sweetheart despite all of the things he has been through. Lila is so much like her mother, Grace, and I really resonated with her and her striving for perfection and her insecurities. Together, Reed and Lila really helped each other heal and were very clearly made for each other. The tension and banter and care for each other? Oh, it was so perfect. I really loved getting to see Cal, Grace, Maddie, and James again and it felt like coming home to family. I will seriously miss this series so very much because it is s special to me but I am really looking forward to Lisina Coney's next book!
