I have had this sitting on my Kindle forever to read, and thought I had better pull my finger out with the release of White Trash Damaged upon us!

I am a fan of Teresa Mummert's work, and this is a lot different to other books of hers I have read.

Teresa Mummert takes us on a journey where a small town girl meets a worldly rockstar. Sparks fly and we are taken on an adventure.

Cass works in a diner near the trailer park where she works, supporting her drugged out mother and deadbeat boyfriend.

This is her world, until Tucker White walks in the diner. And with that he goes straight onto my book boyfriend list.

I totally got an Adam Levine feel to Tucker through the lyrics/songs he sings, and it was not until after I had finished reading that I saw that he was her muse for him. Can totally understand why Cass was under his spell (have met Adam and he is divine!!)

I totally wanted to bitch slap the mother and beat the crap out of the boyfriends.

But like it says, it is not always rainbows and butterflies in life, and things need to take their course.

I felt that the end was a little rushed to get closure on a few things, but I am sure they will be dealt with in White Trash Damaged.

Great way to spend a couple of hours
