Bloodsinger by Renee Dugan
5.0

Wow, I can't begin to say how much I adored this book! I was so lucky to get an ARC (a physical one no less) and I regret not savoring more.

The cover was just stunning and it is definitely my favorite so far! I also must admit that this title is my favorite too! Bloodsinger has such a lovely ring to it (definitely not murderous at all...).

Cistine is separated from the Cabel at the beginning of the book but is quickly reunited with them. However, Cistine feels left out because she missed so much of the war already. We see Cistine and Thorne go through some stressful times within their relationship as well as brave the problems outside of it.

Speaking of Thorne, I absolutely loved his perspective in this book! We see him go through so much (even though he really needs a break, take a nice hot bubble bath with some nice bath salts) and he really matures as a leader.

I could go on for years about each individual character's development, but I'll end it here for the sake of your eyes. Each character in this book continues the wonderful development that Renee Dugan began in the first book and there isn't one single character that doesn't serve a purpose.

I was absolutely devastated by how Renee Dugan absolutely decimated everyone's happiness and I really hope that things get better for the Cabel in the next book.

Once again I am blown away by Renee Dugan's gorgeous tale of found family, overcoming obstacles, heart-warming romance, and (of course) magic.

Lots of love!
