I would give A Beautiful Mystery 4.5 Stars.
Gamache and Beauvoir have found themselves in a monastery far from civilization. The prior is dead, murdered, with 23 suspects. While there, the Suerte Superintendent shows up to rattle Gamache.
Why I almost gave this book four stars was how long it took to move. I felt like the beginning took awhile. But once it picked up;m, it picked up well. The way both storylines intertwined was so well done and the ending was fantastic. If I didn’t have a huge stack of books to read, I would definitely pick up book 9 immediately!
