I loved the first three books of this series.  The next two were so-so for me.  It took me a minute to convince myself to read this book and I'm glad I did. It brought me back to the place I was in the first three books.  Eurydice was wronged by her former lover, Orpheous, and has spent the last year healing with a dear friend, Charon.  As these things go, she's fallen in love with Charon but still has Orpheous on her mind.  Charon approaches Orpheous to give Eurydice closure and Orpheous followed through.  We follow the three as they figure out their new lives together and as the 13 gear up for war.  It was nice to see Hades and Persephone again.  I'm intrigued with Callisto and cannot wait for more of her. Also, the teaser chapter for Dark Restraint? Phew, I wondered how Katee was going to make us enjoy Ariadne and the Minotaur but I wonder no more.
