Off the Deep End
by Lucinda Berry
I love Lucinda Berry so I was very excited to read this one. True to her style this is a gripping story of two mothers grappling with tragedy.
Amber and Jules are neighbours and their sons despite being the same age aren’t friends. They do however, help each other from time to time. One fateful night when Amber asks Jules to pick up her son from practice because she is stuck somewhere else, amber gets into a fatal accident when her own son Gabe dies but she ends up saving Ambers son and herself.
What ensues is the consequences of the tragedy. I won’t go into detail cause that will contain spoilers. The story is gripping but the ending left me wanting more.
It’s a good book but not the best.
