This was a fast-paced, action-packed children's fantasy novel, and I did enjoy it. I love that it revolves around Navajo culture and mythology. I also love the authors writing style. 

Unfortunately though the plot did feel just a tiny bit 'by the numbers' and predictable, which is why it didn't get a higher rating from me. I am an adult though, not the target audience (!), and I suspect many kids will absolutely love the book.
