Three robbers, and a tiny tagalong, discover a beautiful bird and must have it for themselves. While the three bigger robbers feel they know the best way to capture the bird, the littlest one decides to use kindness to attract a whole flock of birds, but only for their company.

The repetition make this a great read-aloud and the monotone color scheme give it a unique touch, drawing attention to the prized, colorful bird.
