The idea around Wicked Nights is great. An evil warlock out to get all sorts of power and a good warlock out to save the day, and stuck in the middle is an innocent human...it just needed another fifty pages spread out here and there. Things moved way too fast for me in this one. As a novella it can be difficult to give enough development to keep things "real" for me, but I have read ones that I really enjoyed. This one didn't quite cut it for me in that department. I just kept thinking that no sane person would jump into any relationship that fast! I just couldn't get into the story or characters this time.
