My heart just broke for Preston. I just wanted to give him the biggest hug for everything he went through and experience, yet he still kept it completely hidden and made sure his little sister was always safe. Jeremy was so caring and protective, especially when it came to Preston. The two of them were drawn to each other from the start, even though they both acted like they hated one another.

I loved the connection these two men had and eventually, the love and support that they were able to provide each other in many ways. The development of their relationship was a beautiful thing to read.

I loathe Preston’s father and with what happened to him angered me. I felt like he took the easy way out and that man should have been dragged through all the coals for everything that he did.
