This is the first Fredrik Backman book that I have picked up. I purchase My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She's Sorry earlier this summer, and was excited to listen to it through Audible after hearing good things about the book itself and the audiobook recording.

However, I found the first portion of the book boring and the narration did not help at all. I sometimes found Elsa to just be a spoiled little girl used to getting all of the attention from her family and who doesn't know how to cope.

I enjoyed the mix of fairy tale in the book, and really started liking the book once I Elsa started delivering all of the letters to the those who lived in the house.

I'm hoping that I'll enjoy other Fredrik Backman books that I have on my TBR.
