This was...something. I don't even have all the words for it.

So I'm still trying to grasp this whole situation. In a shit-like world we have our main characters, one that has the head of a lizard named Caiman, while the other is a badass female named Nikaido. Together they try their best to live in this world while "magic users" come into their area and try to murder them. Why is this all happening? It's kind of confusing. Caiman was cursed to be a lizard man, but he is now immune to magic. And why they are coming after him? I'm not too sure.

The story tries to balance the main leads with also giving a look into the magic users. Most are pricks, assholes, or just strange as hell. I'm assuming these are the bad guys while Caiman and Nikaido are good. But then again they also chop people's heads off and so on.

It's all pretty confusing at the start but by the end of the book I atleast got a plot and get where they're heading. It's interesting to say the least, and the dialogue is pretty natural which is nice, and the violence and action is high end and entertaining. Some of the plotting is confusing and I'm not in love with the art all the time. But overall I'd def want to see where this is going. A 3.5 out of 5.
