What a wonderful way to start a new series. A great cast of main and secondary characters, an interesting and engaging plot and the joy in knowing that there is more to come in this new series. Honeybridge is the quintessential small town where everyone knows everyone else’s business, family feuds last for generations and the townspeople are always there to help when needed.

Flynn, who can be rather prickly, and JT have a long history of antagonistic behaviour, disagreements and family rivalries between them. Circumstances have them back in each other’s orbit after 3 years and it doesn’t start off very well. Simmering beneath all the anger, tension and resentment is the undeniable chemistry swirling between them. A chemistry that cannot be contained even when old misunderstandings are still a bit raw and after a couple of bumps along the way, these two likeable characters finally get their well deserved HEA. There’s some family, work and relationship issues as well as steamy moments mixed with tender and intimate scenes all which left me smiling at the end.
