Engrossing historical tale based on the true story of Lexington, one of the finest racing horses of all time. I both raced to read the chapters of the various characters’ experiences, and also forced myself to slow down and savor the story. There was also a bit of fear of what tragedy would happen, and one certainly befalls the storyline. This story will stay with me for quite some time.
