Okay, this was just not good. I understand this is a debut and the author is Spanish (the book is in English) and it is self published... however, it truly needed a VERY thorough edit. I can't even count how many mistakes I found and this really bothers me. I have no issue with a mistake here or there but every page was filled with them. The author sorely needed an editor, even a friend to look it over! The writing was immature, lacked depth and was very basic. I thought the premise was so cool and I, being an avid F1 fan, was excited to read a new F1 book because I feel like there aren't many out there in the world of sports romance novels. I was really disappointed in this. Also, "hammer time" is Lewis Hamilton's catchphrase, so I don't see why that was the title and why Philip was using it? This didn't make sense to me. Overall, I would not recommend.
