When I first saw this, I loved everything about it, the cover was bright and inviting and the story sounded hilarious.
The story surrounds Sarah, a stay at home mum who is pregnant with baby number three and fed up wit her house and lack of career and Drew, her hardworking and slightly naive husband. They are struggling for money so Drew, inspired by a new article, decides to write and erotic novel to generate some extra cash.
It was an original story line that I had not come across before and the characters were likeable and well developed.
I did enjoy the book and would recommend for a light holiday read but, for me, it didn’t live up to what I felt it could have been given the premise. Also, despite the title and what the couple are writing about there is ZERO steam in this book.
