I’ll admit, I went into this with low expectations but it still failed to meet them. The story wasn’t cohesive, the characters were barely developed, and the Queen went evil so quickly I got whiplash. Will I read the rest of the series? Probably, because I’m trash for Disney. Will I forever be grateful that Once Upon A Time gave us a really good backstory/redemption arc for the Evil Queen? Absolutely.
