I love a good witch story and Cackle is one of the most unique that I've read. After a bad break up with her best friend/live in boyfriend, Annie uproots her life and moves away to a tiny secluded town to start her life over. She meets Sophie who seems to be feared by all of the town people but kind and generous as their friendship grows. Soon Annie discovers not only that Sophie is magic but she learns how to be independent and discovers her own bit of magic. Friendship, self love, and fun! I would love to see this turned into a Halloween movie.
