Starting with "They don't have a family tree, they have a family forest" till "Anyway, all that lung exercise was exhausting. Time for another nap" this story made me crack up real good in more ways than possible. I actually finished the whole book in a single sitting!

First, The alternate perspective between Mona and Ramit was well placed and the font given for the names were really cute!. Circling around a very large Indian family, the gossips, the domination of Mom's and Mummy's decisions over the couple's, all the aunty dramas were spot on! I could easily relate to them, being from India myself. The disputes between the two mothers, and the struggle to get some privacy midst all these nosy people is super real!.

In some places i felt that Ramit was not really being supportive and let Mona deal with lot of things alone, i couldn't justify those with his workaholic and silent character. Mona was an absolute mess when it came to dealing with her pre/post pregnancy, which i absolutely enjoyed reading.

My favorite character had to be Shania, whom i grew to love the most. She was really strong, charming, had a good heart. Despite projecting herself to hating certain things, throws the cutest surprise for her sister, which surprised even me while reading!.

It was such a fun, light and hilarious read and i thoroughly enjoyed it!
