dana_reads_travels 's review for:
Crown of Midnight
by Sarah J. Maas
**5/5/23** See below as on my reread, this review stands. Book 2 was on point!**
I love where this series is going. I liked book 1. I devoured book 2. Then I went and immediately ordered book 3. Not even sorry about it.
Chaol is where I am at and I feel like this will be a Peeta/Gale/Katniss triangle. Which means I will not be happy where it goes. #teamgale
But I love our main character. She is flawed and she knows it. She loves, but doesn't pine. I am here for all the page count that Maas is going to drop on me. And while I really enjoyed ACOTAR, I think I would have DNFed that series if I had read this one first. Much grittier and better written in my opinion to this point!
