After being completely enamored with Vengeance Road (the prequel to this book), I was hesitant to pick up Retribution Rails. I thought it could not possibly live up to its predecessor and - let me just say - I was wrong! Bowman, the author, did a fantastic job showing how the area had changed since the last book (there is a gap of ten years in the stories) and making the reader fall in love with a new dynamic duo. If you are looking for a title with lots of adventure and a sprinkle of romance, you should definitely check out this series.
