Miracles in Wild Rose Bay by Susanne O'Leary

This story made me wish it was summer and it was possible to travel to Kerry and visit the lovely and well described places where the book is set.
This is the third book I read in this series and always loved the light hearted and well written plots.
Each instalment can be read as a standalone even if characters from other novels are featured.
I had fun and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Tara, a photographer and travel journalist, and Kate, a doctor, are two interesting characters: they are strong willed and stubborn, each of them with different life choices and way of living.
Their relationship is not easy and sometimes I felt Kate was trying to impose her vision on Tara and she seems to be a bit too overbearing.
I think this is the main weakness in this book: I love everything but I struggled to understand Kate even if she’s quite a likable character.
Even if it’s a lighthearted story the author deals with some interesting issues like how tourism can change the soul of a place and life choices and dreams.
It’s a compelling and highly entertaining read, I liked the plot and I like how it ended.
I recommend it.
Many thanks to Bookouture and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine
