I enjoyed this read. It was short and intriguing. I did feel the characters were a bit flat and the points of the story were conveyed in a rather heavy-handed way. I also didn't enjoy the ending that much as it just felt rushed and didn't have a lot of emotional weight for me. But I think a lot of my issues come from this work feeling short for no reason... and I think the writing style was intriguing enough I could enjoy more from this author if it had some room to breath and build.
