The Way of All Flesh:
by Samuel Butler
funny
reflective
slow-paced
I loved the tone of this book. The sly humour of the narrator (Overton) really made this very readable when it otherwise could have felt like a chore. Based on the first half of this book I was going to give it 5 stars but the second half I found too philosophical and therefore found it dragged in places. (I'm probably not educated enough in that area to understand what they were saying). Overall I'm very happy I've read it and may do so again; I can imagine it would be a really good audiobook.
