I'm not usually the kind of person who picks up #9 of a series, but seeing a superhero book for children with a disabled character on the front cover made me curious.

I'm definitely going to have to have a look into this series as it was such a fun read.
A sports day for superhero families, with each chapter being the next competition.

It would be great fun to get the kids replicating these races and games in PE, or using it to link to a school family fun sports day.

I loved the little black and white pop-art/ comic inspired illustrations, and the inclusion of Mia's punnily named superhero friends such as Allie Oomph (a speedy superhero with prosthetic legs) and Ben Ocular with his guide dog Seeker!
