There’s a strong premise here, give Wally a reason to attempt his own “Flashpoint” like Barry did, but you could cut this story in half and get the same quality. I’m actually ok with Barry and Wally acting recklessly here. Wally has been through *A LOT* of traumatic events back to back in this era and Barry has quite the history of behaving recklessly when his family is threatened. I do wish The Flashes would have acknowledged though that breaking a force of nature responsible for the *flow of time itself* is incredibly dangerous. It felt like the two people most knowledgeable about the subject just decided to forget everything they knew. Good but not great. A common trend with Rebirth stories.
