The Two Lives of Lydia Bird by Josie Silver
4.0

Rating: 4.5/5 Stars
First let me preface, do not read this during the time of a loved ones death anniversary because it makes it really hard to read.
This book is about grief and growing as an individual when your love has died. It’s beautiful in the way it is written. It’s heartbreaking as well.
Lydia’s fiancé dies on her birthday and she must grieve the loss of him. However, she gets some sleeping pills and it allows her to be with Freddie in an alternative universe. Will she still grieve him in a normal fashion or will she be living a double life?
I loved, loved this book and loved the growth of Lydia over the two years we have of her. I do wish we had an epilogue to see more of the ending.
