April 2022 re-read:
So... I had planned to read one volume a day leading up to the show. But as you can see, that failed spectacularly. I couldn't resist reading more!!

This volume is genuinely so important to me, especially as a bisexual person who went through exactly what Nick is going through here. His journey questioning his sexuality and finally coming to terms with who he is is achingly familiar, and I'm so happy that this story exists and is told in such a beautiful, respectful way. It's so important for queer people, especially young queer people, to know that it's ok to be exactly who they are, and that they deserve to have people in their lives who will be the support system that they need to navigate this world. It's all so wonderful, and I can't thank Alice enough for doing such an amazing job with it - I trust them with my life 😭

TL;DR part 2 because if you haven't seen the first one, chances are you'll stumble onto this one: PLEASE read "Heartstopper" and watch the Netflix adaptation 👏🏻

...aaand volume 2 as well!! I can't believe that it's taken me this long to get into this series but now I can't imagine my life without it????????
