Isabel Quintero is the Judy Blume for this generation! This book is so honest, real, and refreshing. I wish this book existed when I was a teen. I may not be Mexican, but I related to Gabi. (Well, my past teenage self did.) The poetry and the smart zine that was added to this story was a double bonus. READ THIS BOOK!
