the first two episodes of the charmed tv show in novel format.
which i very much enjoyed and think was such a fun way to experience (or reexperience as it was for me).
this written version seems a bit less … i don’t know the right word. the horror elements of the democratic fights and the demons themselves seemed bit less violent in written format to me. less shocking maybe?
i think this is a great book for younger readers that’s interested in something a bit less childish like many witch-y kids books are but still not overly violent.
also since it’s very easily written and short books that are sectioned of into two separate stories it wouldn’t be overwhelming for anyone not used to reading a lot.
i enjoyed this a lot more than i expected and plan to continue reading this book series for now.
and very possibly rewatch charmed -yet again.
