If we are going to be introduced to a new kind of AI and its mental processes in every book of the series, I'm all for it (Miki was cute). Even though it's kind of funny that bots and constructs are more developed and have more distinct personalities than human characters (that's my only complaint with the series: humans blend together and don't leave any lasting impression on me).
