Original review 4/21/20: I listened to the audiobook and it made me tear up. I could seriously listen to Jason Reynolds talk all day.

Reread 3/1/24: Rereading this because I'm using it for an activity in my content area literacy class where I will be analyzing the poem with my peers as a way to practice teaching strategies. I am bumping my 4-star rating up to a 5 because this poem is just so powerful, moving, and inspiring. I love the way that Reynolds encourages dreamers young and old to follow their passions while also reassuring the reader that he is still going after his too. The language he uses is so vivid and clearly paints this picture of going on the tough journey of making your dream a reality. I am so inspired by Reynolds's words and I can't wait to discuss this in class!
