Holy trauma overload. These poor boys, my heart was breaking for them all the way up to the epilogue. 

Becks and Riley just could not get a break. Ever since they were kids it was like they too hit after hit and never got a breather. The only solid thing in their lives was each other, Jay and their trauma. My heart broke for Beck the most, the things that he had to endure just to protect Riley and make sure that he was safe and cared for 🥹

Their story took you on such a doozy of an emotional ride. It was so gripping and kept you on the edge of you seat of what else would go wrong. Definitely some trauma bonding and hurt/comfort the majority of the book but I honestly think that if they did not have each other they would not have survived all of the horrible things that happened to them.

I loved that they finally got to a point that they felt safe and could finally trust some people and got their HEA, they really really deserved that.
