Clara Claus by Alexandra Lanc
4.0

I recieved Clara Claus for free through Goodreads FirstReads, and I am very glad I did.
Clara Claus begins with the devious Jack Frost being punished for his latest attempt to destroy Christmas, the holiday he hates with his entire being. Saving him from being fired (the title 'Jack Frost' is his job), Santa requests that Frost helps him prepare for Christmas and that Frost must fall in love with a human by Christmas morning, a week away. Clara Claus, meeting her Santa grandfather for the first time, arrives at the North Pole, and Santa assigns Jack to give her a tour.
I will stop with the summary there, so readers can learn the rest themselves.
My overall thoughts on the book were that it was charming, light-hearted, and I think both the book and the author have a lot of potential. I laughed and cried with the characters, but I feel more connections between the reader and characters could have been given if the story was told in first person, not third. Even so, it was still an adorable, unique story, and I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series. If you like holiday stories, sweet romances, clean books, and laughter, I would say go pick this book up and enjoy.
