I picked this up on a whim just for something light to read at the beach yesterday, and then I couldn’t put it down! I loved Something to Talk About, but I kind of fell out of reading contemporary romance since then so I’m really surprised at how much I loved this! Cassie was annoying and immature, but that only added to their dynamic by highlighting how different they were, but still somehow so right for each other. It did take me a while to get buy into their romance; the first half felt like a lot of telling me how much chemistry they had and how electric it was without actually seeing it. But the last half really sold it! Overall this was a really good book, it was light and fun with just the right amount of emotional stuff thrown in. Exactly what I wanted for a day at the beach!
