3.5. high fantasy doesn’t really do it for me because the plot and characters often get lost while describing the details of the world and this book was definitely like that. still, I think this book is worth reading just for the chapter from jissavet’s point of view. sofia samatar is an incredibly talented writer. I will be picking up the winged histories soon.
