Where There's a Will by Anna Sparrows

This book deals with quite a few heavy subjects, but without it being crushingly depressing. Well, it wasn’t to me, anyway. It’s about two men finding their way to each other and making a life together through grief, a couple of bouts of insecurities related to their age difference, and external challenges.

I enjoyed reading a book where the age gap is acknowledged and discussed a bit. I read a ton of age gap, and mostly it’s not a thing that is brought up a whole lot. It didn’t take up too much plot, but I think I would’ve noticed it missing if the MCs didn’t talk about it. Raising an infant when you’re 50 isn’t straight forward, and I’m glad it was treated realistically. Well, I don’t know how realistic a ‘Will’ is, but a girl can dream lol. I’m pretty sure a silver fox firefighter is a universal wet dream, no matter your gender or sexual orientation lol.
