Dead Secret
by Noelle Holten
DC Maggie Jamison is a great heroine that has a lot to go through while solving crimes and dealing with personal issues.
For as meticulous and rewarding as her job is, there’s always something new to discover and unveil in the cases she has to find what happened with the victims or criminals.
Having to face a new challenge, won’t stop her to enjoy her personal love life and I’m so happy that the author has included parts of it in here because I’m always intrigued by strong characters and what’s happening behind the curtains and after the working hours.
I knew the journalist would be trouble for her cases, and it proves that I was right. The disappearances had all been for an unexpected reason for me and that ending surely left me speechless and with so many questions and willingness to read the next books as soon as they become available.
Very grateful to the publisher for my review copy through NetGalley
