Hasn’t realized there was an Unwritten book I hadn’t read yet. It’s fun to see the origin layed out here explicitly. Makes me want to re read the series. It’s been years and what it has to say about popular consciousness and fiction made for one of the most impactfu, surprising, and pleasant comic book series I’ve read. Possibly only second to Sandman.
