I was truly fascinated with this book.
The Mermaid Inn sounds like such a charming place. I loved Eve. She made lists in her head and as a librarian, had a love for libraries- both town and little free .
Sawyer did a really dumb thing to Evie (as only he calls her) for a pretty good reason so I couldn't be TOO mad at him. He seemed like a sweetheart who had custody of his really great little sister and he did well at raising her. Plus he's a man in uniform!

I love second chance romances and especially when they are set in small towns. The townspeople are always so great, albeit nosy, and this was no exception. I can't wait for the next in the series as Jake (Sawyer's friend) intrigued me.
