March: Book One by John Lewis, Andrew Aydin
5.0

Wow. Just Wow!. This book is so well done it is hard to put into words. We follow the story of John Lewis as he readies for the first inauguration of President Barack Obama. When a visit from some kids has him remembering his childhood, and how he fought peacefully for the rights he has today. Following his story is sad and scary, but also full of optimism and a want of better things for himself and his people. In today’s world, I feel many need to read this and remember that peaceful protest can move mountains, and can cause change.
