Pining by Stephanie Rose is a book that pulled at heartstrings before delivering a beautiful HEA. I loved how Victoria was her own woman, and indulged in things that interested her, but still had her some personal demons to face. Anthony's past and need to prove himself to everyone plus himself created some heart-wrenching conflict. The comic book backdrop along with the holiday season was fun and unique. The magnetism between Victoria and Anthony was palpable and encouraged some steamy intimate scenes.
