I’ve put off picking up this book for a very long time and now that I’ve read it, I understand. It’s been a long time since I’ve really savored a book, and the writing was just so beautiful and I didn’t even realize when I got so attached and swept into the story telling. And then about 75% in I just started crying because Patroclus and Achilles and Briseis and just everything. I’m going to think about this one for a long time.
