I wish there was more information on the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League in this book, or that the book was more than one drawn out scene. I know it’s a short children’s book and it has pretty pictures, but I don’t think I would have liked it if I hadn’t already known a lot about the league from watching A League of Their Own (the movie and the show). Then again, I’m not the target audience, so maybe this book has an appropriate amount of information and plot for an elementary school kid.
